Today I elect to let go of my preoccupation with past thoughts.
Let us be willing to open ourselves up to consider that we have been viewing the world with tinted glasses coated with numerous layers of past experiences. We, therefore, rarely if ever see clearly what is happening right now without projecting past fears, doubts prejudices and judgments onto others. Is it not possible that the distortions we see happening now seem very real because the layers of the past are kept alive by thoughts we chose to have? And is it not possible that the same types of situations seem to recur only with seemingly different players, because we have forgotten that we create the present depending on our perception of the past?
Giving up past thoughts releases the unlimited potential in both ourselves and others. We thereby give up the illusions of limitations that we have placed on ourselves. The myth about our limitations will cease when we change our minds and decide to let go of our belief in limitations.
Let me remind myself today that my mind has no limitations.
Let me not see the shadow of anyone's past today.
Today I walk through the door of forgiveness and leave all past perceptions behind me.
