Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:
“How open-minded are we?”
“Being open-minded generally means we’re tolerant of people who hold political opinions and spiritual beliefs other than our own. Open-mindedness also includes accepting that both genders and all races are inherently equal. But the Course says there’s more to it.
The Course defines open-mindedness as total forgiveness of everyone for whatever their transgressions. That’s not so easy. The reason we struggle with this principle is that we severely judge ourselves. Our imperfections aren’t tolerable to us, so one else’s are either. As we accept what we hate about ourselves, which we project onto others, we’ll become more willing to offer compassion, first to others and, finally to ourselves.”
“Today I will practice forgiveness. That’s the Course’s main lesson.”
Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “Prayer is a conduit for miracles. It addresses the problems of the world at their source. It changes people at a cellular level, and with each one who changes, others are brought miraculously closer to enlightenment.”
Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “A generous gesture is never made alone. Angels surround us and lift us up each time we express our batter nature. Let me imagine a world I would truly like to be part of, because my efforts to be happy, kind, and whole are helping to bring it about.”
Wayne Dyer, There’s a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem: “Remember it is your ego that is the most formidable obstacle to the attainment of God. It is your identification with this idea of yourself as separate from God that creates your so-called problems.”
Paul Ferrini, Grace Unfolding: “When we accept our lives the way they are, we rest in the truth of our being, which does not depend on what is happening outside of us. We rest in the realization that right here and right now we are worthy of love and so are others.”
Unity’s Daily Word:
“God guides me in making wise choices.
I make the best use of my time and energy.”
“At times it may appear that I need more hours, more days, more productivity to finish what is my responsibility to complete.”
“In actuality, there is always enough time for what is needed. As I take a few moments to pray, God guides me in making wise choices concerning my time and energy and my perfect use of them.”
“There is a natural sequence of time and order – for action, completion, and rebirth. God’s perfect order is within each day, each moment. There is time enough!”

“I am spirit.”
“I will accept my part in God’s plan for salvation.”

Lesson 114
Review Lessons 97 & 98
“I am spirit.”
“I will accept my part in God’s plan for salvation.”
I AM spirit, I am not this body, this form of illusions I have believed in. While in this illusion, I forgive myself for all thoughts I have had which were not thoughts with God, which were thought when I also thought I could be separate from God. But all these illusions are just that illusions – nothing made by nothing.
