Creating Positive Relationships

Let me recognize today that the bottom line of all of my problems, regardless of their form, is the fear of separation

Its hard to comprehend that problems which on the surface appear very different are somehow related by the same underlying fear. For example the impending death of a child who has a catastrophic illness, the loss of a loved one through a divorce, a job loss causing a family financial trauma or social outcasting due to drugs or alcohol dependency all appear totally unrelated to each other. Looking more deeply however we find that in each case, the underlying fear of separation from something or someone permeates the problem.

The ultimate fear that permeates our lives is our fear of separation from who and whatever created us. Until our perception of this separation is healed we continue to project our separation out into life's experiences.

Once we recognize that we are never separate from the Source, that the creator and the creation are never apart we can begin to feel joined with each other.

Today let me recognize my fear of separation that arises from my attachments in life. Let me consciously choose to release my attachments to people and things and be reminded that as love, as life I am joined to all that is.
