Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:
“What you see is what you want to see.”
“Those men and women who are always singing the blessings of life are not luckier than we are. We may think they are if we are feeling sorry for ourselves, particularly if they just got a raise at work and we got laid off. But the only real difference between them and us is vision, and that doesn’t mean eyesight.
We create our world. Every situation we confront is what we “asked” for. Those we befriend, and even those we dread, are people we unconsciously need to know. What we experience, moment by moment, reflects the inner world of dreams or fears that consume our minds. Our lives are personally engraved. Since that’s how it works, why aren’t we always singing our blessings too? Why have we chosen these painful situations?
We may find no satisfactory answer for how our lives have unfolded up to now. They are what they are, and we are responsible, but today is a new day. Tomorrow is too. There is time to create a new vision.”
“I will see only love if that’s my choice.
Today has only just begun.”
Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “Love is not weakness, but wisdom. God’s answer is always loving, but the loving answer is not always “yes.”
Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “All I can do is try my best. ‘All you can doe is the best you can.’ This simple acknowledgment releases unnecessary anxiety over how much needs to be accomplished and returns my mind to the only time in which anything can be done. ‘We can always do better’ does not actually conflict with the peaceful acknowledgment that ‘we will accomplish what we will accomplish.’ It simply states that potential has no limits. But no matter what the form, anxiety over quantitative goals is not accomplishment.”
Wayne Dyer: “The presence of a belief in hatred is a major source of most troubles.”
Paul Ferrini: “Peace does not come through the agreement of egos, for it is impossible for egos to agree. Peace comes when love and mutual respect are present.”
Unity’s Daily Word:
“With acceptance and appreciation,
I receive the blessings of God’s grace.”
“Grace is God’s love in action. As I recognize and appreciate this unconditional love, I become even more aware of it. I am filled with love. Continually blessed by the love of God, I am guided, healed, and prospered. Love moves through me and with me as grace that enhances my life and reaches out to touch the lives of others.”
“I relax, knowing there is never a barrier between God’s grace and me. Feeling accepted and accepting, I gratefully receive the blessings of grace. Knowing that God’s grace is mine calms and reassures me. Without my asking for it or deserving if, grace is given to me.”
“I enter into a blessed awareness of God’s redeeming grace, and I accept it as my own. My appreciation of the power of love in divine grace grows.”
A Course in Miracles: Lesson 138
“Heaven is the decision I must make.”
Namaste – Ron

Lesson 138
“Heaven is the decision I must make.”
What does this statement mean to you? For me, it simply states that I have no real choice here – I can choose the illusion hell or my reality, Heaven. Because of who and what I am in truth, I must choose Heaven. Anything else is nothing while Heaven is “home.” I “must” make this choice because I am guided by Holy Spirit to do just that and only that – see that Heaven exists here and now and not then and later. Thank You, God, for the Holy Spirit as my Guide.
