Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:
“The mind is the body’s physician.”
“It’s difficult to grasp that the diseased body is actually a reflection of the ego. We resist many Course ideas initially. Fortunately, it’s not necessary to accept them all simultaneously. We can “try on” Course perspectives and observe the difference in how we feel before making the decision to “change our minds.”
What we realize before long is that living according to these principles can bring us happiness. We are no longer compelled to focus on the past or other people or what may happen next in our lives. We begin to trust that whatever comes to us is simply an avenue of learning, an opportunity to feel love, forgiveness and peace. And we understand that a health challenge controls us when we think we are only body rather than Spirit.
A fear filled mind creates a fearful world of experiences. A Holy Mind, one that’s listening to the Holy Spirit, knows only peace and joy and love. No adversity blocks the path of the Sprit-filled mind. No condition is anything more than a teaching tool.”
“I will focus on healing, forgiveness, and love.”
Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “The more we turn to God and ask Him to use us for His purposes, the more the mind expands and illumines. The spiritual commitment is to make every situation an object of devotional connection.”
Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “Disagreements cannot diminish love. To the ego part of us, love is agreement. ‘If you really loved me, you would agree with my beliefs, prefer what I prefer, and support my decisions.’ But true love is seeing each other clearly and accepting each other as we are. Real love recognizes that there are always disagreements between personalities, and it finds them interesting rather than jolting.”
Wayne Dyer: “You can become an instrument of peace in any given moment of your life by deciding that you are not going to use your mind for anything other than peaceful thoughts.”
Paul Ferrini: “Whenever you take another person into your heart, you open the door to me as well.”
Unity’s Daily Word:
“I proclaim the good news of God’s healing,
guiding, prospering presence I n all.”
“What if good news was always the leading story on all radio and TV stations, in all newspapers and magazines? What an uplift we would receive from seeing and hearing about the good that has happened and is happening in the world.”
“In fact and in faith, we are sharing good news in a network of positive, affirmative prayer through Daily Word and the Silent Unity prayer ministry. We share the good news about the spirit of God within all and how this inner spirituality is being expressed by us as life, wisdom, and creativity.”
“The power of our life-affirming words goes forth to embrace our world and all within it. We proclaim the good news of God’s healing, guiding, prospering presence in all.”
A Course in Miracles: Lesson 144

“There is no love but God’s.”
“The world I see holds nothing I want.”
“My mind holds only what I think with God.”

Lesson 144
Review Lessons 127 & 128
“There is no love but God’s.”
“The world I see holds nothing that I want.”
There is nothing else that exists except God – and God is Love. I have believed in many things in this dream, but none of them has been real – all illusions. That which I AM – the Love of God – is real – and it is reality. My world I make holds nothing that compares to Love. My world holds nothing that I want. I have already all that there is – Love.
