Song of God

Listen, listen, listen! All that you will ever need to know is already within
you awaiting your inner ear. If you seek to understand your past, the answer
is with you. If you need direction for today, the answer is within you. You
do not have to seek out there for the answer to your future. It is already
within you awaiting your asking. Why then are we reading our horoscope,
playing with the Tarot cards, asking our friends, or looking for signs? Many
times we do not trust our own wisdom, even when it comes clearly to our mind.

An everyday question may be "What shall I have for supper? Life shaping
questions may be, Who shall I marry? or Will we be happy? Answers to these
and higher questions about God life, love and peace, are always awaiting your
asking. You do not have to go here or there to find God or the answer to your
simplest question or your highest question. All you must do is be still and
listen to that inner voice that forever sings the true song.

It's true that learning to listen to the still small voice takes practice. At
first it seems that the connection is quite blurred and you may not get very
good reception. Persistence is the answer. Spending every ten minutes daily
in the silence has benefits and begins to open your receptivity to the
greater wisdom. Affirm: Today, the true song of God's wisdom is revealed to
my conscious mind, I act upon it with confidence tell it in the daylight, and
preach it on the housetops. I sing the song of God.
