What Am I?
What am I? cried the raindrop
as it splashed into the muddy pond
The pond flowed into a creek
Asking What am I?
Twisting and turning the creek became a river
Wondering What am I?
Quietly under a golden moon the river met the sea,
and asked What am I?
But this time listening…
And listening…
An answer came
What I Am in the beginning I must always be.
I am more than rain,
more than a river and even more than a sea.
