Blazing New Trails

There is guidance for each of us,
And only by listening we shall hear the right word.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Our part is to be ready and
Willing to be guided into the truth and liberty.

Blazing New Trails

Do not follow where the path leads. Rather go where there is no path, and blaze a trail, is an old saying. Pioneers do that. They move beyond what is known, and clear a path for others to join them. The fullness of who we are and what is possible for us is not known yet by any one of us. It is discovered, in part, as we blaze new trails of consciousness and face into the winds of change.
Facing into change gives pioneers their undefeatable strength, as well as the freedom to grasp life at a new level. Pioneers grow in the direction of their choosing. They do not dwell on what is behind them, but are fully present in each day moving forward toward their vision.
As pioneers in consciousness, we cannot afford to park ourselves around mental and emotional campfires talking about how great life used to be. We are empowered when we learn to love the journey and our fellow travelers, the reluctant travelers as well as those eager to risk and to change, and to listen to the still small voice of God. Loving our journey opens us to be guided into truth and liberty on every step of the way. The trail we are to blaze lies directly before us in the form of the challenges we face, and the joys we feel. When we listen to the life-affirming urge within us, we can travel into the unknown with complete assurance.

Today I listen to the life-affirming urge of the Divine within me. I move forward ready and willing to trust and act upon the guidance of this inner voice. My strength and freedom are in God as I blaze new trails in my life.
