Seeds for the Garden of your Mind

June 9

Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:

“Both sickness and health are in our control.”

“We all remember the miracles described in the Bible. Jesus was the healer. It may seem like heresy to claim these healing powers for ourselves now. But the Course insists that how we think is tied to how we feel. When we turn our thoughts to peace, our ailments, whether physical, mental, or emotional, will recede.”

“We are fortunate to have a much control as we have. It’s awesome to contemplate how far-reaching our powers are. Knowing that we can use them for our own good, every minute, is refreshing. Remembering to invite the Holy Spirit along for each decision promises a far healthier life.”

“I am in peak condition if I seek peace and love in my life.”

Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom:     “Nothing is more important to the future of the world than that millions of people begin daily, prolonged meditation and prayer. Meditation and prayer are our greatest hope for world salvation, because they transform us at the level of cause.”

Hugh Prather, Morning Notes:          “Oneness is the experience: ‘Here is someone I know.’ It’s impossible to believe that another person is different from me yet withholding assigning a value to those differences. I will be judgmental of myself, or of the other, if differences are all I focus on. How personalities contrast is spiritually unimportant. Oneness is feeling and seeing myself in another. It is relaxing my mind and letting go of the importance I place on my superficial identity.”

Wayne Dyer:          “Problems are experienced in your thoughts first. If you have love there you will not have room for hate, since they cannot live together in the same place.”

Paul Ferrini:          “You can’t find peace in the world. You can find it only in your heart, when it is open.”

Unity’s Daily Word:

“One with the presence of God,
I know that my joy is complete.”

“It is my very nature to be joyful because the joy of God within me is always seeking expression through me. I give expression to my joy in prayer and praise to God.”

“In those times when I feel down, I life my voice in prayer and praise, and I am uplifted in spirit. It’s as if my words for God and thoughts of God encourage me to be joyful, to be aware that there is so much to be thankful for in my world. Joy is an inner gladness of the soul that I release into my life.”

“In prayer and praise to God, I discover an even greater oneness with the Creator. My heart rejoices. I am never separate from my joy, because I am never separate from God. One with the presence of God, I know that my joy is complete.”

A Course in Miracles:          Lesson  160

“I am at home. Fear is the stranger here.”

Namaste – Ron

Lesson 160

“I am at home. Fear is the stranger here.”

This is a great affirmation. I am at home – I am with God – I have never left God nor could I leave God or God leave me. This is my truth – my home – my reality. In this world fear is seen, but it is a stranger to me. Only in this world I make is fear present. Only within this illusion is another illusion possible.
