Seeds for the Garden of your Mind

June 12

Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:

“The Holy Spirit always knows what we need.”

“Hindsight is a good teacher. Every one of us has been spared our fondest wish on more than one occasion. And today we count our blessings. The marriage we thought we had to have or the job of all jobs would not have brought us lasting happiness. Now we can see what path we were on. It wasn’t luck that saved us, although we may have guessed so before coming to the Course. Now we know the Holy Spirit was “present” when we were faltering.

There’s comfort in the knowledge that the Holy Spirit is always close. But we may wonder why we’ve experienced some tough times anyway. That’s where the ego comes in. Just as we have the voice of the Holy Spirit to rely on, we have the ego’s voice at hand. It convinces us far too often to obey its will. The pain and suffering that dot our past are the evidence of its power. Relying on the Holy Spirit rather than the ego will change not only today but also every tomorrow.:

“I’ll meet no trouble today if I listen to the right voice.”

Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom:     “We are not here to fix, change, or belittle another person. We are here to support, forgive, and heal one another.”

Hugh Prather, Morning Notes:          “Because God is love, I am never alone. Regardless of what spiritual beliefs they profess, most people believe they are alone. They think, act, and pray as if they are alone. This is simple denial that Love exists. It is a misperception that spills on everything in the world they see, and it blocks the experience of peace.”

Wayne Dyer:          “Sowing love where there is hatred means reminding yourself that you are love, and that is all you have to give away.”

Paul Ferrini:          “Live with someone before you have learned to live with yourself and you will make a mockery of relationship.”

Unity’s Daily Word:

“I am an open channel of the love, peace,
and wisdom of Christ.”

“What can I do to make the day brighter for others? I first pray so that I am prepared to be a channel of love, peace, and understanding. Therefore I make a positive difference in the lives of others.”

“I may write letters or make some calls, sharing fun moments from the past – knowing that we can share laughter and offer mutual support.”

“There is one thing I can always do: behold the Christ Presence within others. In Christ, we have life, we are loved and loving, we are wise and fulfilled.”

“Whatever I do for others, I am acting as one creation of God blessing other beloved creations. With this intent, I do make the day brighter for them and for me.”

A Course in Miracles:           Lesson 163

“There is no death. The Son of God is free.”

Namaste – Ron

Lesson 163

“There is no death. The Son of God is free.”

What is death but an experience of this illusion. It is the end of this dream, the end of ego, but is nothing to me, the Son of God. Death is feared by ego and yet is its goal. But the Son of  God, you and me, are eternal. There is no ending to us, no beginning. We are as we have and will be forever. This is our freedom.
