Seeds for the Garden of Your Mind

July 25

Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:

“The ego knows no truth.”

“Where do we find the Truth? Many think they have it. Most would not knowingly steer us wrong; however, the only certainty we have of getting the truth is if we ask the single Source that knows Truth: the Holy Spirit. We can access the guidance of the Holy Spirit is we quiet ourselves and listen. We must be still and patient. The ego, the loud one we’ll hear ever so quickly, is seldom the right one. Listening takes practice.”

“The ego wants my attention every minute.
I can ignore it today and seek the Truth instead.”

Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom:     “Personal power results from a balance of masculine and feminine forces. The spiritualization process – in men as well as women – is a feminization process, a quieting of the mind.”

Hugh Prater, Morning Notes:          “Do I want to be my ego, or do I want to be my self? What at first appears to be personal transformation is in fact personal acceptance. This never entails ego acquiescence but rather acceptance of the deeper self, which is the connected self. Thus acceptance is not an insular or self-centered act. It is a willingness to allow the old boundaries of my identity  to dissolve.”

Wayne Dyer:          “Be continuously aware of the times when you are trapped in ego consciousness.”

Paul Ferrini:          “Relationships offer you a profound spiritual path. Your partner is not only your friend, your lover and your companion, but also your teacher. S/he reflects back to  you all the beauty that lies within you, as well as all the fear, doubt and ambivalence which lies buried deeply within your soul.”

Unity’s Daily Word:

“Abundant blessings flow to me and through me.
I welcome my prosperity.”

“There is a balance attained in giving and receiving that is evident in prosperity. I truly am an instrument of God as I accept and share the abundance of the Creator.”

“I welcome my prosperity by being a clear and receptive channel of blessings. I give with ease because I know God meets my every need. With joy I allow the wisdom, love, and creativity of God to move through me and out to others.”

“Giving expression to divine qualities within me, I don’t have to strive to produce prosperous results. I know that I am not only in the flow of God’s blessings, I am also a contributor to that flow. I both give and receive blessings.”

A Course in Miracles:           Lesson  206

Review Lesson 186
“I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me.”
“Salvation of the World depends on me.”
