Seeds for the Garden of Your Mind

July 26

Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:

“Everything is simple in the Real World.”

“Considering how daunting and painful some of our experiences are, we wonder why we remain here rather than returning to the Real World. Even more, we wonder why we came here at all. There is an explanation. We are here because in one tiny, mad moment the ego say its chance for power and split off from God. It has fought to maintain control ever since. However, Go didn’t forsake us. When the imagined separation occurred, the Holy Spirit became our companion to smooth our journey and to guide us back to the Real World when we are ready. What’s taking us so long?

The truth is that we can go to the Real World whenever we want. It’s not a place of bricks and mortar. We don’t need travel plans to get there. The decision to express and receive only love from all our compatriots transports us to the Real World in an instant. There is no strife here. Peace and joy are permanent residents. We can remain “there” too.”

“My attitude is all that keeps me from the peace of the Real World.
I can make the trip there today in an instant.”

Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom:     “Invite God’s spirit into every situation, which means to ask for the highest level of thought, guidance, and unfoldment to occur for all concerned. Ask God to remove from your mind all thoughts that are not of Him. Ask God to show you the love and innocence within all people.”

Hugh Prater, Morning Notes:          “If I try to force a picture of oneness, I destroy oneness. “Parents who force their kids to participate in dinner conversation and individuals who force their partners to say, ‘I love you,’ make a similar mistake. They value the appearance of oneness more than oneness. Just as I will never become more peaceful by trying to make my personality appear more peaceful, I will never get someone to love me by trying to make them act more lovingly.”

Wayne Dyer:          “Immerse yourself in the literature of healing rather than of evil.”

Paul Ferrini:          “There is perhaps no more rapid path to psychological wholesome and spiritual awakening than the path of relationship. It is also one of the most challenging paths.”

Unity’s Daily Word:

“Every cell in my body is one with God’s mighty, healing presence.”

“The presence of God is the one power in my life, a healing presence that gives me energy and strength and a renewed sense of my oneness with the Creator.”

“Do I need to be healed? I take a moment to become still and feel God’s healing power. The life of God is a real presence in every cell of my body, a presence that restores health and sparks renewal wherever it is needed.”

“In perfect order, the life of God works from the inside out, healing every cell, organ, and system of my body. In the silence, I can feel my oneness with God’s healing presence as I am being renewed. Every cell in my body radiates with the energy and life of God that is working in and through me.”

“One with God’s mighty presence, I am healed. I am whole, well, and renewed.”

A Course in Miracles:          Lesson 207

Review Lesson 187
“I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me.”
“I bless the world because I bless myself.”
