Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:
“Only God is real.”
“Considering the fact that we can’t see God, but we can see each other, our bodies, our towns, our possessions, it’s not easy to grasp that all but God are illusory. The opposite seems to be true. What then comprises all that we “think we see?”
“The Course teaches that the ego is the creator of the entire material world. This suggests that the ego works long hours! Indeed, it ceaselessly works to keep us agitated and ready to attack and be attacked. Its power lies in our unending, haunting uncertainty about all our experiences. Reading in the Course that nothing is real but God make us feel crazy at times. How do we intelligently explain all the people, places, and things we can touch?”
“Maybe we don’t need to explain anything. Perhaps that’s a radical notion, but contemplating it, for a moment, offers a hint of peace. Can’t we accept some things on faith? If nothing we see is real, can it really harm us?”
“No matter what transpires in my life today,
I’ll savor the Truth that nothing is real but God.”
Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “Forgiveness heals our souls by washing clean of the past and delivering us to unsoiled present. Eternity means a present untainted by past pain or future anxiety. Anything short of a spiritual healing can suppress the past but cannot erase it.”
Hugh Prater, Morning Notes: “Oneness does not see degrees of inequality. The sum of things we own, the superior state of our health, the many years we live, or the number of spiritual concepts we accumulate do not attest to our spiritual advancement any more than loss or scarcity adds respectability to the body that experiences it. Within a mindset of oneness, versions of inequality are not ranked. In fact, they are not even perceived as meaningful.”
Wayne Dyer: “Whenever you feel that someone has injured you, or sullied your reputation, or caused you physical harm, the spiritual solution, as difficult as it may appear, is to extend forgiveness. To hold onto the pain and seek to exact revenge will simply keep you stuck in pain, the problem will be exacerbated.”
Paul Ferrini: “Your greatest accomplishment as a couple is not your ability to navigate around your pain, but your ability to move through your pain together without making the other person responsible for it.”
Unity’s Daily Word:
“Be glad in the Lord and rejoice.”
“The thrill of joy within me excites my soul. There is a joy in my life that cannot contain itself – that needs to be celebrated, shared, and made known. I am in awe of all the happiness that my heart holds.”
“From an unsuppressed giggle to a knowing smile, there are many ways I share God’s joy with others. From meaningful, loving words, to generous giving, to a random act of kindness, my demonstrations of joy abound.”
“I may also feel joy in quiet, reflective, meditative moments that fill my soul with gladness. I may outwardly rejoice as I dance, sing, jump, or shout with joy.”
“The exuberance within my bursts forth as I celebrate each present moment. There is always reason to celebrate because I am living a life of joy in God’s presence.”

Review Lesson 189
“I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me.”
“I feel the Love of God within me now.”
