Snips

Our experiences depend on our outlook. Doesn't everybody get mad at unruly children? Surely a downpour in the midst of an outing is depressing. And a job loss can't be anything but discouraging. Or can it? It's a quite a revelation to note how differently each of us responds to our experiences. Seeing a glass as half-full rather than half-empty is clearly our decision.
Many of us have suffered from negative attitudes. We didn't understand that it was within our power to relish all our experiences, to see them as points on our learning curve, to recognize that every experience is meant to bless our journey.
Life passes so quickly, and we have so much to learn along the way. Accepting every moment as sacred and just what we need relieves us of the tendency to judge experiences negatively.
Whatever comes to me today can be relished, I am "in process."
Melody Beattie

" To appeal to God is to appeal to the action of universal love, Love never fails to come when we call to it, but it will always seem to fail us when our bidding is self-centered. The most powerful prayers are simply for God’s will to be done, because God’s will is healing for all living things. "
Marianne Williamson

AA Thought for the Day / We had to see that when we harbored grudges and planned revenge for such defeats, we were really beating ourselves with the club of anger we had intended to use on others. / 12 & 12, p. 47

A spiritual being is comfortable with the idea of having teachers, observers, and divine guidance available at any time. If we believe we are souls with bodies rather than bodies with souls, then the invisible, eternal part of ourselves is always available to us for assistance. Once this belief is firm and unshakable it can never be doubted, regardless of the rational arguments of those who live exclusively in the physical world. For some this is called intense prayer, for others it is universal, omnipresent intelligence or force, and for others it is spiritual guidance. It matters not what you call this higher self or how you spell it, since it is beyond definitions, labels, and language itself.
Wayne Dyer

In this day I will acknowledge that I am a magnificent creation capable of the greatest accomplishments. I am one of a kind. Never before in the history of human existence and never again will there be another me. I have a purpose, a mission and with that a responsibility to fulfill those goals. The key to success is in "knowing" and "believing" that I can, then purposefully taking action. The "knowing" is the small voice you hear deep within that gives direction. It sparks the dreams and softens the indignant blows that life throws at us. It is the spirit of our being connected to the Great Power.
Bob Perks

In the here and now; you have the power to change everything! You have the power to live the abundance you were promised.
Gary LaLonde

Lose your sense of being separated from your good and you will find that a you are united with it.
Ernest Holmes

A being who's awareness is totally free, who does not cling to anything, is liberated.
Ram Dass
