Structure Supports the Spirit
Structure supports the expression of Spirit in our lives. The universe is always seeking to express more fully in, as, ad through us. In the poem quoted above Kabir writes, “Order is a great benefit to the seeker, Otherwise living in one’s own house can become as walking through a market place where all the merchants keep shouting, “You owe me.”
In your house of consciousness what is the ambiance? What is your life actually set up to support?
If the universe granted you your heart’s desire right now, would your life be able to support it? Would you be able to hear it announcing its arrival? There is nothing wrong with those currents of energy in your mind; they just need to be harnessed. Structure and order are the way.
Order creates structure, structure creates soundness and soundness creates strength; this is the continuum of increasing wattage. Through spiritual practice, discipline, and nurturance, one creates the internal fortitude to express the fullness of Spirit. The spiritual devotee becomes strong enough to surrender to the plan that Spirit has for her life. The disciple becomes sound enough to fully reflect the life and light of God.
When the currents of our minds are harnessed, then we can be truly harnessed by the larger vision of our lives. At that point walking through our Mind becomes an experience of joy and high wattage.
