Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:
“We can live in our body without any thought of separation or attack.”
“We aren’t separate from God. It’s a totally mad idea to think we are. That’s what the ego tries to make us think, however, as it way of controlling our lives. If we could know our Oneness with God at all times, we’d never end up in chaotic messes.
The idea that we are really One with God and other people is good news. It’s also a bit mysterious. Our eyes see where our bodies end and other bodies begin. How can we all be One in God?
Let’s suspend our disbelief. Accepting that we are all part of God must be taken on faith. God gave us the Holy Spirit in our minds to act as the reminder, the bridge to our real identity. Remembering its presence gives us the willingness to relinquish all thought of attack on another. After all, there is no other. There is only God as all of us.”
“Today I will remember that attacking others attacks God.
The Holy Spirit will help me see the Real World.”
Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “The purpose of our lives is to give birth to the best that is within us. It is only through our own personal awakening that the world can be awakened. We cannot give what we don’t have.”
Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “Today I will not disregard my intuition of what this person wants from me. The mind can be trained, yet in most instances my thoughts are so chaotic and vulnerable to events that I go through the day looking at everyone through a swirling fog of ambiguity. This blocks my intuition of what each person is at heart. Yet it is seeing the deep and often unspoken urges of the heart that allows me to connect and that makes my happy.”
Wayne Dyer: “Pain and suffering do not exist when viewed from the perspective of God.”
Paul Ferrini: “Only that which comes from your heart with great enthusiasm will prosper on all levels. Only that which you love will touch others and bring true appreciation your way.”
Unity’s Daily Word:
“I answer the call of Spirit to live from the peace of God within me.”
“We are the peacemakers of our world, answering the call of Spirit to live from the peace of God within us. Reaching out with prayer, person by person, we bring the people of the world – people of every nation and region of the world – together in peace.”
“As creations of God, we share a bond of kinship that supercedes all perceived differences. From that higher vision that Spirit is calling us to view our world, we see that traditions, languages, and religions come together to create a beautiful mosaic.”
‘More and more, we move our world toward peace because more and more, we are bring our peace-filled thoughts and prayers to our conversations within our families and neighborhoods, our communities and world. We set an intention on peace, and then we claim it.”
