Science of Mind meeting in MPLS - New

Dear Friends,

On Sunday, Oct 1 at 11:00, our new Science of Mind spiritual center “opens its doors” at The Open Book, 1011 Washington Ave S, Mpls, in the heart of the Twin Cities and its energies of vitality and renewal. The location is 3 blocks from I94 and just 1-2 blocks from the new Guthrie and the Metrodome. The building is gorgeous, stimulating and inviting!

Please join us for our initial gathering! It will be a “traditional service” in format, New Thought in content. Note that we have a new name: Our Spiritual Center. We are affiliated with The United Centers for Spiritual Living, the international organization of Religious Science that publishes The Science of Mind Magazine. Don’t let all this confuse you—what we are about is simply the recognition and validation of every individual’s spiritual nature.

We have interesting formats for our Sunday gatherings planned:

--The first Sunday of each month will be a “regular” service, with music, message, congregational singing, etc.

--Every other Sunday: A New Thought principle will be presented, followed by open discussion. This in turn will be followed by opportunities for questions to be answered about Science of Mind principles, and for prayer requests. Come experience this—it’s beyond words; it will be a spiritual experience with an opportunity to participate to the degree each person chooses. See the attached flyer for weekly topics.

(PS: Please forward the flyer to anyone you believe would be interested. Also, we have flyers for posting. If you can post some for us, please contact Dee Dee Ackerman at ddackerman@mn.rr.com. Dee Dee will email or snail mail some to you—or you can copy the attached.)

(PSS: There are 33 free parking spaces owned by the Open Book on the south side of the building. The street parking is metered 7 days a week, some at $1 per hour, but others nearby at only $0.25 per hour. Information about parking is available at The Open Book.)

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU OCTOBER 1!

With love and blessings,
OUR SPIRITUAL CENTER
Rev. Nancy Herrick
Rev. Joanne Biewald
Rev. E.T. Hallanger
Denise Erickson
Rose Marie Studer
--and the many others who are helping to make this possible!
