Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:
“God is changeless and eternal.”
“Whenever we feel confused regarding this material world versus the Real World, we need only note the nearest tree or flower or person. Change is forever visible. Death is the ultimate reality here. The same is not true in the world made by God, the world we left, the world we’ll return to someday. But for now, we’re here, and when our lessons have been learned, we’ll receive the gift of the eternal once again.
What’s so good about the changeless, eternal world? Would we really prefer it? We are assured we would by our Teachers and the Course writings. Perhaps it’s hard to imagine a life with no strife, but that’s what awaits us. The peace we’d feel is an ecstasy unimaginable here. Fortunately, we can get glimpses of this peace whenever we express only love. Time stands still and all remains changeless in those moments of pure loving. That quiet changelessness is peace and wholeness and Oneness with God.”
“If all around me I see confusion and fear,
I’ll retreat to the peace within.
My home is with God today, if I so choose.”
Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “Just because someone has lot to teach us doesn’t mean we like them. People who have the most to teach us are often the ones who reflect back to us the limits to our own capacity to love, those who consciously or unconsciously challenge our fearful positions. They show us our walls.”
Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “Pause often in stillness. To have peace, give peace. To be happy, make happy. To feel loved, love. This is very simple and is a part of all the world’s inspired teachings. But it cannot be understood by a mind that refuses to pause.”
Wayne Dyer, “You can love anyone and appreciate him or her for who they are, without telling yourself that you will be devastated if they let you down.”
Paul Ferrini: “One person’s fidelity to Self and willingness to live her dream explodes the entire edifice of fear that surrounds her. It is that simple. And it all happens as gently as the first ‘yes’ said in the silence of the heart.”
Unity’s Daily Word:
“The transforming power of God is renewing me.”
“I look at the new experiences life presents as opportunities to let God guide me to new discoveries. As I acknowledge the spirit of God in each and every situation, I also acknowledge the possibilities of good for myself and others.”
“I release old attachments to former habits or ways of doing things, knowing there are new and better choices for me. Just as trees flourish in autumn when leaves fall from their branches, I thrive when I am open to transformation.”
“With eagerness, I look forward to the renewal that change brings to me.”
A Course in Miracles: Lesson 277
“Let me no bind Your Son with laws I made.”
