Seeds for the Garden of your Mind

November 3

Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:

“Problems have no life of their own.”

“When we’re in the midst of emotional pain, it’s not easy to believe that problems reflect only the life we give them. Why would we want experiences such as these?”

“The truth, of course, is that we create problems in an attempt to assuage our own guilt, the guilt we have for our perceived imperfections. What we dislike, in ourselves, we relish seeing in other people. And when we do, we often attack them, or at least react in some judgmental, unloving way. What’s the way out of this insidious cycle? Lucky for us, there is one.”

“We do see only what we choose to see. If we decide we want to see only the good in other people and situations, we will. Obviously this means we can see only our perfect self too, the same self that God sees. We don’t need problems in our lives, ever. While some say we learn from them, and that may be true, we can complete our journey without them if we so choose.”

“I will be problem-free today, unless I choose otherwise.”

Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “In the world of bodies, we are all separate. In the world of spirit, we are all one.”

Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “Simply forgive and be happy. Forgive, but do not wonder how you must act. Forgive, but do not try to convince another to forgive. Forgive, but do not hold yourself superior that you have done so. Simply forgive. Wrap your forgiveness around you like a cloak of light, a spiritual barrier that protects your happiness and your peace, but closes no one out.”

Wayne Dyer: “The decision to bring light to darkness opens up a whole new world of beauty appreciation and sets you free of any misperception you might have about life being a dark experience.”

Paul Ferrini: “Tomorrow you will carry the gift you have been given into the world. You are the hands of God bringing comfort and healing.”

Unity’s Daily Word:

“Divine wisdom guides me in the fulfillment of my soul.
I am wise and confident.”

“What do I do when there seems to be no clear-cut answer in making a decision? In truth, there is a right decision; that decision is to turn to God for guidance.”

“God is the unfailing source of wisdom that guides me in the fulfillment of my soul. Trusting in God in all matters, I know that I will be guided in making the right choice at the right time.”

“Divine light shines within me, dispelling all doubt and indecision, bringing good judgment to each decision I make. Whether a decision seems to be routine or of great significance, I trust God to guide my thoughts, words, and actions.”

“Divine wisdom guides me in the fulfillment of my soul. I am wise and confident.”

From A Course in Miracles: Lesson 307

“Conflicting wishes cannot be my will.”
