Seeds for the Garden of Your Mind

November 10

Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:

“We will be told all we need to know.”

“We all wonder how to respond to unfavorable conditions. Before coming to the Course, we often were frantic when making decisions. We were certain we had to be right, which filled us with fear. The fear, in turn, kept us from feeling and expressing love, which would have unmistakably guided us rightly.”

“It’s a simple idea, yet so hard to grasp, that we are either feeling love or fear at every moment. We don’t always recognize fear, however. Sometimes it looks like anger, resentment, sadness, or disappointment. Acceptance of how love and fear operate in our lives will speed our growth and understanding. It will also bring us peace.”

“The Holy Spirit is as close as our thoughts. With Its help (and all we have to do is ask for it) we can evaluate our lives through eyes that see only love.”

“I don’t have to wonder what to do today.
The Holy Spirit is waiting to tell me.”

Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “We can decide to be happy, to give joy before waiting to receive it. This is not denial, but affirmation of the power inside us. Embracing joy heals depression.”

Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “A fear-free mind heals because it gives hope. Without a word spoken or withheld, it encourages and calms. Healing is a natural consequence of the fact that all minds are joined. This is why it’s never necessary for me to ‘keep someone from making a mistake,’ ‘show them the light,’ or instruct them on how to behave. When I practice peace, it is the same peace that already rests in every heart. When I strengthen my own faith, this bolsters the faith that others have in what is already theirs, and they in turn strengthen me.”

Wayne Dyer: “Thinking how you want to be treated helps you also to extend the golden rule to others.”

Paul Ferrini: “The time of ambivalence and deliberation is over now. When the door opens, you will walk through it. For that is why you came.”

Unity’s Daily Word:

“With God’s guidance as my spiritual compass,
I explore life anew.”

“There is an array of opportunities available to me and of resources surrounding me. My life is full of experiences and possibilities at every turn. When I come to a turning point in life, I look to God within for the direction I am to take.”

“What a wonderful example of abundance my opportunities are. I am not limited in my actions or my destinations. God’s guidance is always with me, bringing me the blessing of accomplishment.

“In the small details of my hours and in the large events of my days, God’s guidance leads me. I pray, I watch, and I listen. With God’s guidance as my spiritual compass, I explore life anew.”

A Course in Miracles: Lesson 314

“I seek a future different from the past.”

Namaste – Ron
