Seeds for the Garden of Your Mind

November 30

Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:

“The Holy Spirit is the voice of our real self.”

“God placed the voice of the Holy Spirit within us when we left Him to remind us that we are not separate minds and separate bodies. We are all One with God. That He gave us the Holy Spirit as a companion during this illusory, nightmarish existence prevents us from totally forgetting who we really are. Whenever we let Its presence think for us, Its heart act for us, we’ll know the peace of being at home with God, the peace we left behind, the peace that’s ours to return to at a moment’s notice.

When we’re trapped in the ego’s mind, we can’t imagine that there’s another way to see and feel and act. The blessing is that we aren’t trapped against our will. We are free to choose another perspective of every encounter we experience. Seeing the drama of our lives through the eyes of our real self changes who we think we are and, more important, who everyone else thinks we are. The excitement is just beginning. We can make this journey as full of hope, love, and peace as we make up our minds it should be.”

“If I want to hear my real self today, I need only get quiet
and let the Holy Spirit’s voice speak to me.”

Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “In understanding ourselves, we come to understand the world. In allowing ourselves to heal, we become the healers of the world. In praying for peace, we become bringers of peace.”

Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “When a judgmental line of thought ends, the damage it caused the mind ends with it. The world may not be fair, but Love is. All things done in and with Love are accompanied by a whole and healed mind.”

Wayne Dyer: “Truly you will come to see the freedom of the light when you stay in truth, and bring that truth to all you encounter.”

Paul Ferrini: “Don’t depend on some other authority to inspire or validate you. Pay attention to your own experience and guidance…Learn to accept the unfolding tapestry, mistakes and all.”

Unity’s Daily Word:

“Opening my thoughts and life to Spirit,
I give expression to my faith.”

“Someone I care deeply about may ask me a question that causes me to begin searching my soul for the right answer. Then, in an instant, I respond with an answer that satisfies this person’s questioning heart. My response is also a revelation to me of the depth of my own spiritual understanding.”

“The reality is that I have been preparing for those unscripted, seemingly impromptu moments through my daily focus of being guided by Spirit. Opening my thoughts and my life to Spirit, I am an expression of faith and understanding that uplifts others.”

“As I give voice to my faith, I, too, am strengthened. Embracing every opportunity to enhance my spiritual understanding, I live from a faith that inspires me to live life fully.”

A Course in Miracles: Lesson 334

“Today I claim the gifts forgiveness gives.”
