Seeds for the Garden of Your Mnd

December 7

Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:

“We teach what we are ready to learn.”

“Our experiences serve as our tools for self-enlightenment. In the past we were invested in being right, winning arguments, and getting our way. Occasionally we got what we wanted, but the gratification never lasted long. That baffled us.

Not much has changed in the externals of our lives, yet it all seems very different now. The trigger? This new way of seeing. This tiny change has had a phenomenal impact. Seldom are we willing to push for a fight. We honestly would rather be peaceful than right.

Understanding that we have a sensible purpose in this life makes everything we do more meaningful. Our tasks don’t have t be spectacular. We don’t have to be superstars at anything. Just being the embodiment of love and peace is as big a job as we need.”

“I am teaching every minute.
The plan is simple: Today I will teach only love.”

Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “The more powerful prayers are simply for God’s will to be done, because God’s will is healing for all living things.”

Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “Where does the light of God end and I begin? Divine light doesn’t travel just so far and stop. We were created by Light, in Light, and of Light. We can believe in darkness, anticipate darkness, and be preoccupied with past thoughts and present perceptions of darkness, but we cannot change our basic nature. We can’t recreate what the divine has already created. When we feel happy and connected, we are beginning to experience ourselves as we are.”

Wayne Dyer: “Joy comes from rejoicing in all that you are, all that you have, all that you can be and from knowing that you are divine, a piece of God.”

Paul Ferrini: “You do not have to belong to a religion to awaken your spirituality. But it is easier to awaken to the truth and beauty of your life if you belong to a loving community of people.”

Unity’s Daily Word:

“I am a radiating center of peace.”

“World peace begins with each one of us. As we give expression to the peace of God that is within us, we are the peace we want to experience in the world. Having released any thoughts that are born of fear, we claim the Truth – all people share a common spiritual bond. Aligned with God, we release any error thoughts we may have held about those we did not understand.”

“Whether people are of a same or different political persuasion, race, or nationally, we see ourselves in them. What we are perceiving is the sacredness of each one of us.”

“With a tranquil mind and loving heart, we are radiating centers of peace within our communities and our world. Individual by individual, world peace is becoming a reality.”

A Course in Miracles: Lesson 341

“I can attack but my own sinlessness,
and it is only that which keeps me safe.”
