Living in Gratitude

Having a permanent attitude of gratitude comes from bring conscious that the good of God is always present. It goes far beyond recognizing a single event on a single day, or a gift received from someone. Gratitude meets all events, happy or sad, from a sense of being a part of the great reality. Being grateful is not saying, Wow this is wonderful, about everything. it is the consciousness that we are provided for in all events of our lives.

Being grateful is continually deepening in the acknowledgment that life is good, just as it is because life is God-life. The greatest growth in gratitude comes when we are at ease with where we are now, whether we like it or not.

Being at ease with our circumstances does not mean getting used to them, or even being resigned to them. It means that we acknowledge a present reality and do not waste energy on what cant be changed. we, instead direct our thoughts toward what we can change and affirming the truths that God is all there is. Then we can take action being fully aware of the infinite source meeting all our needs in a timely manner.

Affirm: Today I am at ease with my circumstances because my eyes are open to the good of God which is always present. I release what I cannot change and make wise choices in areas where I can. I am grateful for my life and the abundance present within it.
