Snips

A spiritual life has nothing to do with giving up the excitement, the passion, even the rushes. I used to think it did, I used to think balance and moderation were required to be sane, or to be working a good program. I've come to believe that those things can instead become excuses for not living big, for not taking chances, not risking going way the hell outside of the box, risking getting hurt, risking the judgement of others. The quest for normalcy can become an excuse for not leaving the safety of the known to wander into the mystery. A philosophy that requires of us that we give up those things that are so essential to life is too small of a philosophy.
J. Anderson

Because so many of us have been thoroughly conditioned against trusting our inner sources, we simply may not know where to begin the process of developing our relationship with our inner teacher. There are teachers and therapists available in most communities who can help us get on a path of trusting our own inner processes more fully. We recognize these teachers, not because they claim to know all the answers, but because they are offering skills to help us find those answers ourselves.

When you can allow people to express their Light their own way, to fulfill their destiny and walk the path to the drummer they hear, then you are, in essence, doing the same thing God does - allowing them the freedom of their expression.
John-Roger
