Seeds for the Garden of your Mind

March 8

Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:

“Anger is unnatural feeling.”

“Considering how often we may feel anger, it’s not easy to understand how it can be judged “unnatural.” Most of us would say, “It just seems to happen.” That’s not the case, however. We create it; it does not have a life of its own. But since it causes us such unpleasant feelings, why would we create it? There’s only one answer. The ego, which we also created, wants dominion over our lives. It can control how we think and what we do, when we assent. When it has us angry, it has us in its power.

If we don’t want the angst of anger any longer, we do have an alternative. The connection to God can be just as strong as to the ego. We simply have to make the decision to strengthen that tie. We are on the right path currently. We are students of the Course. We are spending time with other students and we are meditating upon these ideas. We will get more accustomed to the “natural” feeling of love and Oneness with others as we commit more time to the idea. There is no hurry. Peace and love will keep waiting for us.”

“I am able to feel love today,
if I seek the Holy Spirit’s help.”

Marianne Williamson: “To trust in the force that moves the universe is faith. Faith isn’t blind, it’s visionary. Faith is believing that the universe is on our side, and that the universe knows what it’s doing. Faith is a psychological awareness of an unfolding force for good, constantly at work in all dimensions.”

Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “Faith can be redirected. A true and helpful faith is not reliance on something I would expect to happen judging from my past experience. The events of my life don’t exactly inspire faith! Yet I always see what I choose to see. I have a sustainable faith only when I extend it. This I do by acknowledging precisely what can be relied on others. True faith carries with it a state of joining, a state of comfort, a state of Family – provided that I don’t search my life for individual ‘blessings.’ I am not special, and this recognition, honestly seen, is the foundation of a new kind of faith.”

Wayne Dyer, There’s a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem: “If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you. Be honest and frank anyway.”

Paul Ferrini, Reflections of the Christ Mind: “Religions, sects, dogmas are nothing but obstacles on the journey home.”

Unity’s Daily Word:

“I am an expression of divine understanding,
wholeness, and abundance.”

“Whenever I feel as if I am struggling to make a decision, I know it’s time to let go and let God. I am not giving up on myself; rather, I am giving myself the benefit of being guided by the wisdom of God.”

“I have the unwavering faith in God to bring to light the order that is always present – even in the midst of seeming chaos. As I release any thought of fear or apprehension, I move ahead thinking and doing whatever I am divinely guided to think and do.”

“I trust God to restore balance to all areas and circumstances of my life. As I let god and let God lead me, I become the very expression of divine understanding, wholeness, and abundance that I am meant to be.”

A Course in Miracles: Lesson 67

“Love created me like Itself.”

Love, God, All That Is – created me in It’s image and likeness. As God is, I AM. Wherever God is, I AM. I AM as God is! What a fantastic thought to allow to dwell within my mind. What a powerful affirmation this is. Can I accept this thought? Can I truly accept what I am affirming here? Am I truly in the image and likeness of God? In my truth I AM and I declare it now!

Namaste – Ron
