Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:
“Attack or love, that’s all there is.”
“Attack wears many disguises. Sometimes it looks like a thoughtful suggestion, sometimes an educated opinion. Occasionally we choose to explain our attacks as being assertive. The silent treatment is another common way to attack. There are many forms, and some are quite creative. The result is always the same, however. We may win the battle, but we lose the war.
Choosing love, the alternate response, isn’t so hard once we make up our minds to try it. It becomes even easier to choose it again once we’ve made the initial selection. And it is much less stressful. It doesn’t take an elaborate plan to approach the other person or circumstance. We simply put our heart first and the rest follows.”
“I have an easy day ahead if I give only love.”
Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “The difference between those people “living their potential” and those who don’t, is not the amount of potential itself, but the amount of permission they give themselves to live in the present.”
Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “God’s holy peace is all around me. When I am still, it is reflected within me. One thing for certain I know about myself and everyone I’ve met. We are doing too much. We need to stop setting up hoops to jump through. We need to stop second-guessing ourselves. We need to stop tallying up what we fail to accomplish as we go through the day. We need to be quiet. We need to be happy. We need to be still.”
Wayne Dyer, Manifest Your Destiny: “In your silent moments of prayer do not be afraid to ask for help. If you want to remove fear and hatred in the spirit of wanting peace, help will be forthcoming.”
Paul Ferrini, Enlightenment for Everyone: “As long as you think it has to be your way, you haven’t gotten it! You see, it cannot be your way. That’s control. And you can’t control if you want to live a life of Spirit.”
Unity’s Daily Word:
“God is guiding me to my good.”
“In faith I know that God is with me in every moment. Whether I am seeking different employment, desiring more time with family, or beginning new friendships, I trust in God to work in and through me and every circumstance.”
“I may not know exactly how events will play out or how my efforts will contribute to a conclusion, but my faith in God enables me to see beyond any uncertainty. God guides me and inspires me to envision life in positive, new ways, to release the past, and to move forward with confidence and serenity.”
“With faith I affirm: God is guiding me to my good. Continuing to focus on that realization in the silence of meditation, I strengthen my faith. I am then able to look forward to every moment of the day and the good that awaits me there.”
A Course in Miracles: Lesson 101
“God’s Will for me is perfect happiness.”
Within this dream, I often forget God and His many gifts given to me. I often believe I too, am a god, making this dream as I go along. But never in my dream do I experience the happiness that is true – that is given me by God. In my dream I am in opposition to the Will of God – I believe I am showing my will! How simply and profoundly foolish I appear to me! God’s Will for me is perfect happiness. Who do I think I am that would stand in the way of my happiness? I am a nothing, an illusion believing I can stop the happiness that is mine. I have only to change my thought, and the gift is open to me.

I like being quiet. Being in the quiet. I'm not worried about the 2 j.o.b.s because they are so different from each other and I'm not in the position where I canna stop one if I choose. When I do end the first then I'll go back to working on more projects, spend more time watching clouds. The truth is that I choose to enjoy each day, to be aware and in the moments so that I might have time for the flowers, the clouds, chasing butterflies...and other enjoyable moments.
Life is great!
