Tao te Ching

Healing the Mind

Academia confuses
Knowledge with knowing,
Most everyone applauds
The memorization of the 10,000 trivia.
Beware!
These schooled addictions
Are not just myths –
They are the form of mental illness.

Any fragment of the mind, divorced from the heart,
Spirit, human community,
And from the primal reality
Of the universe,
Is an abomination
Of the Great Integrity.

Let us prepare
For the Great Integrity
By cleansing ourselves
Of all cobwebs
Of all cluttered fragments
That paralyze the mind.

In this way
We will function as our own holistic
Physicians.

I find this so interesting and true. People often find me intelligent - yet I know nothing of the typical subjects. I do not do well in trivia unless the knowledge has practical use. It amuses me ...For my self I find little value in the movers and shakers, the sports, music and film industry...

However, I do not how to do what is most important! To love, share, be me! :)

life is great!

Yes, Life is GREAT! The most important thing is to be oneself, and to love. To love is sharing with everyone.

I am the quiet type, except early in the morning, or in the zone of being. I can easily immerse myself in what I am doing from sweeping a floor to running cost estimates and building a home. I find the joy in each of those moments.

Thanks for stopping by
