Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:
“Joining with the Holy Spirit changes everything.”
“There are many times throughout a day that we become consumed with resentment or fear or maybe even rage. Any of these feelings indicate that we have been ensnared by the ego. It’s also common to believe such feelings are justified. The ego claims to be right, always, regardless of the circumstances.
Our obsession with our feelings is so overwhelming, we can’t imagine letting them go. Who would be responsible for “righting” the situation if we backed off? Whew! We do get caught up. We live in fear that if we let go, we’d be lost, we’d be abandoned, we’d have no purpose for living.
How wrong we are, but how gently the Course approaches us with an alternative path for living. It offers us the Holy Spirit as guide, comforter, friend, and controller. Joining with the Holy Spirit allows us to see every aspect of our lives differently and even makes letting go of all circumstances possible. With just a bit of practice, we can see how safe we are when the Holy Spirit is in control.”
“All I need is a tiny willingness
to let the Holy Spirit make peace out of the chaos
I might create today.”
Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “Forgiveness is the ultimate preventative medicine, as well as the greatest healer.”
Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “Do I want the question, or do I want the answer? I am not resting in Love’s gentle arms while I am questioning how the arms got there or demanding to know why they would want to comfort me.”
Caroline Myss: “The journey into your soul can begin with a dream. You may not realize it at the time, but that dream may be telling you that you are about to come home again, to return to yourself in some essential way.”
Eckhart Tolle: “Those who are identified with their good looks, physical strength, or abilities experience suffering when those attributes begin to fad and disappear, as of course they will. Their very identity that was based on them is then threaten with collapse.”
Unity’s Daily Word:
“I am harvesting good from the garden of my soul.”
“Spring brings new growth, and just as I would tend to a spring garden, I also take time each day to tend to the garden of my soul. God has planted the seeds of all that is good within me, and I fulfill my responsibility to nurture these seeds.”
“ I am alert to all that is mine to nurture. When another is hurting, I plant seeds of compassion and love. When I see anger, I plant seeds of kindness. When I perceive that others are in despair, I sow seeds of hope.”
“God helps me realize more fully that although an abundance of new growth comes to the world during spring, there is unlimited new growth that comes to me at all times of the year.”
A Course in Miracles: Lesson 141
Review Lessons 121 & 122
“Forgiveness is the key to happiness.”
“Forgiveness offers everything I want.”
With forgiveness, I unlocked the illusionary door that I believe prevents me from all that I am. As I forgive myself, I see the door fade away and all that I am – more than everything I believe I want – is revealed to me and I am at peace.

I'm working on my garden. I really am. Yet sometimes... ok.. quite often... I believe stupid should hurt.
