Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:
“Prayer can align us with Jesus.”
“In what terms do we consider Jesus? Based on our religious upbringing, we may consider Jesus for more holy than we have the capacity to be. It’s true that Jesus achieved transformation, transcended his body, and gloried only in love for humankind; however, we are promised the same opportunities. Perhaps we can’t imagine this personal evolution, but asking for help to suspend our disbelief is the first step in our process.
The idea that we are equal to Jesus, that we are One with Him, may sound sacrilegious. But it’s not. It’s the most loving way of all to honor Him and us. And becoming aligned with Him allows us to see our experiences as opportunities to forgive and thus love ourselves and then others, just as Jesus did.
Let’s remember that Jesus hung on the cross feeling no pain but only forgiveness in His heart for His attackers. This gives us a model to emulate. It won’t happen all that easily, no doubt, but it will happen. Praying to the Holy Spirit is the way.”
“My prayers will help me today.
Whatever I need to see, I can with the right prayer.”
Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “God provides the answer to every problem the moment it occurs. Time, as we’ve already seen, is just a thought. It is the physical reflection of our faith or faithlessness.”
Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “By judging, I surrender self-control. When I decide to judge, I also decide to shift my power to the object of my attack. And although I may start by judging one thing only, by believing that even a single judgment is justified, I affirm the validity of the entire process of judging. In that instant I become a keyboard upon which any individual or event can sound out the notes of my personal history. Now I am a passive instrument through which anyone or anything can play my preprogrammed tune – even though no one else can hear it.”
Caroline Myss: “…many people – no doubt you, too – are being called into a deeper experience of God in many ways. That is what a mystic is – someone who wants to engage in direct dialogue with God. That desire ignites an interior flame that burns for the rest of your life, lighting your way.”
Eckhart Tolle: “You can just as easily identify with a ‘problematic’ body and make the body’s imperfection, illness, or disability into your identity. You may then think and speak of yourself as a ‘sufferer’ of this or that chronic illness or disability. You receive a great deal of attention from doctors and others who constantly confirm to you your conceptual identity as a sufferer or a patient. You then unconsciously cling to the illness because it has become the most important part of who you perceive yourself to be.”
Unity’s Daily Word:
“I am a living, breathing expression of divine life.”
“If I should let my thoughts remain on concerns, I would experience an increase of emotional stress and physical tension. What I’m thinking affects how I’m feeling. So whenever I realize that stress and tension are interfering with my natural rhythm of breathing, I take a deep breath and relax.”
“Taking the next breath, I focus on Spirit as the presence of life within me and the very breath of life that is continually revitalizing me. Calm and at ease, I breathe in and feel renewed as a rush of energy flows throughout my body and peace fills my mind.”
“Continuing to breathe from this calm, peaceful state, I allow the natural replenishment of my body to have its full effect. I am a living, breathing expression of divine life.”

“I thank my Father for His gifts to me.”
“Let me remember I am one with God.”
Now that all that I am is revealed to me upon forgiveness of myself, I remember instantly that I am One with God – that I have forever been One with God – and will for eternity, be One with God. That which God is, I AM. And I am thankful for the vision of my reality.
