Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:
“Thoughts are everything.”
“What we see or feel is only what’s in the mind because thoughts are everything. We are responsible for our world, of course, and everything in it. Most of us aren’t so eager to accept all of that responsibility. The turmoil and “bad luck” can’t be our fault every time.
Even though this set of beliefs forces us to give up blaming others, it also empowers us. Our journey to real happiness can be made more quickly when we accept our rightful role. It’s really quite fun to realize that we are who we want to be; we think only what want to think. We can speed up or slow down our journey at will.
The problem is, how do we first understand and then get comfortable with the idea that thoughts are everything? It helps if we share our observations of experiences with others. We’ll see how differently each of us catalogues and interprets events. That, in turn, reveals how our thoughts manage us.”
“I don’t need any thought I don’t want today. I’m in charge.”
Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “Your personal power is not something that is going to reveal itself at some later date. Your power is a result of your decision to reveal it. You are powerful in whatever moment you choose to be. The choice to be used as an instrument of love, right here, right now, is a choice for personal empowerment.”
Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “To learn something new, I have to resign as my own teacher. Life doesn’t select particular lessons for me to identify and learn. Nor does it whisper instructions that I must hear and interpret correctly. All it asks is that I not be my own self-appointed guru. Today I will practice making no assumptions and drawing no conclusions. If I do this, Life itself will take care of everything else.”
Caroline Myss: “The mind…is useless in finding a way into mystical waters. Your mind is exhausted in its search. You need to finally let your soul have at it. Get your mind out of your soul’s way.”
Eckhart Tolle: “Sometimes the ‘fault’ that you perceive in another isn’t there. It is a total misinterpretation, a projection by a mind conditioned to see enemies and to make itself right or superior.”
Unity’s Daily Word:
“I am open and receptive to the guidance
and encouragement of God.”
“In an Old Testament story, Samuel was lying in the temple when he heard his name called. Thinking it was his master Eli calling, Samuel went to him. However, Eli perceived that it was God calling to Samuel, encouraging him to discover his divine purpose.”
“I have a divine purpose in life, a work that is mine to do. In prayer, I contemplate the purpose that will bring me joy and fulfillment to my soul, one that will enable me to grow and to support others in their inner transformation as well.
“Like Samuel, I open my mind and heart to the voice of God that is directing and encouraging me to find my purpose in life. The very foundation of my purpose is to know God more completely. In this sacred awareness, I follow God’s guidance concerning my career, my family, my workplace, my world, and all else that matters in my life.”

“I will accept Atonement for myself.”
“Only salvation can be said to cure.”
I gladly will accept the Atonement for myself, and in my healing, others are healed as well. My errors are corrected as are theirs. I see Love as they see Love. I extend God to them and they extend God to me. Such is my salvation. Such is my cure for any fear in my world.
