Snips

We may have the experience of pure bliss. This does not deny existence or consciousness, but the two are latent within it. It is said if we try to have some idea of what these experiences are, the experience of pure existence, just to be, we have a glimpse of it perhaps when we wake up, the first thing we wake up in the morning. Sometimes we forget who we are. We forget. Our memories ceases to operate. We forget what our circumstances are, where we are located in time or space, and for a moment, our minds are silent, and we feel that we just are. That is a state of pure existence.
Debashish Banerji, on The Upanishads

Don't ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
Harold Whitman

By contemplation the soul draws directly from the heart of God the graces that the active life must distribute.
Mother Theresa
