Snips

I have come to the startling conclusion that there are things more important than my own petty fear, that if I want to live the width and depth of my life instead of just the length, I'm going to have to jump in, let go, and trust that the current knows where it's going. I may get bumped around some in the process, but its better than hanging on to that scraggly little bush on the shore named "my fear" that keeps me off to the side, out of the flow, as the infinite possibility of life flows on by.

All of us live spiritually by what others have given us, often unwittingly, in the significant hours of our life. At the time these significant hours may not even be perceived. We may not recognize them until years later when we look back, as one remembers some long-ago music or a boyhood landscape. We all owe to others much of the gentleness and wisdom that we have made our own; and we may well ask ourselves what will others owe to us.
Albert Schweitzer

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in bud became more painful than the risk to bloom."
Anias Nin
