Snips...

Why is it regarded as unusual to own up to how good you are, how spiritual you are, how beautiful you are? People will readily own up to how bad they are, how stubborn and full of guilt and anxiety they are, how they screwed things up, and how they've wasted their life. So why not the positive? Do you want to create a healthy family? Show love every day by listening, noticing the good, praising, touching, and holding true to your commitments. Grand gestures are fine, but in the long run, they count for less than the accumulation of small acts of love. Mary Manin Morrissey

So funny!!! I just commented recently about my photographs..making the statement "I know when I've taken a good one ." meaning when I see it.. lol.. before that I simply hope it is as good as I intend it to be. People look at me like it's so egotistical. When I said that exact thing - they said, "Well...."

I still stand by my belief that there are moments when one can see clearer and therefore know.

On the other hand, while I know my drawing is good.. I rarely know how good until I see it much later ( forest for the tree thing )

I celebrate it all..through being!

Thanks JJ!
