Snips

Stop picking on yourself, worrying if your good enough, wondering what people will see if you let them see your heart.
This is what they'll see: that you are lovable and delightful soul, a beautiful child of God.
Be yourself and accept yourself -- warts, waistline and all. You don't have to sit up that straight, be that proper, or fear what others may see. Let your imperfections show! When you do that, your life will be fun and a joyful gift to others. People who comfortably accept who they are -- both their flaws and their good points -- are healing, delightful, and are fun to be around. Look at any work of nature: a canyon, a flower, a bird. A mountain or a forest trail. Where does the perfection begin and imperfection end? It's the combination that makes a perfect scene. So it is with you.
Relax. Lighten up. Let go of shame and fear. The whole picture is perfect, and perfectly okay.

“Your personal power is not something that is going to reveal itself at some later date. Your power is a result of your decision to reveal it. You are powerful in whatever moment you choose to be. The choice to be used as an instrument of love, right here, right now, is a choice for personal empowerment.”
Marianne Williamson

At the deepest level, it's real love and care that people crave. Give those things, and you'll receive them. Through your caring deeds and actions, you'll truly make your mark on the world.
Doc Childre and Howard Martin

Practice appreciating for the first fifteen minutes you are awake every day. Appreciation first thing in the morning is one of the most valuable efforts you can make to create more heart coherence in your system and release you from old attitudes that no longer serve you.
Doc Childre

"All that is required now is that you continue to till the soil of your soul. Just as you would not neglect seeds that you planted with the hope that they will bear vegetables and fruits and flowers, so you must attend to and nourish the garden of your becoming."
Jean Houston

"Of all the creature of earth, only human beings can change their patterns. Man alone is the architect of his destiny. Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives."
William James

See God in every person, place, and thing, and all will be well in your world.
