Science of Mind

Each of us gets to dream our own dream, our highest ideal about how we wish to see our life unfold. What I love about Science of Mind is that it teaches that we can live that dream, and it provides us with the tools to do it.

As we focus on what we wish to receive from life, it appears. Spirit brings its gifts to us by pouring Itself through us. Our consciousness acts like a magnet. Ernest Holmes reminds us that we need to provide the already having received attitude. We should expect our dreams to manifest because we are children of God. We would not experience the desire unless there was a way for it to be fulfilled.

Ernest Holmes wrote about a cartoon he saw wherein a man was having a nightmare, a figure at the foot of the bed was about to grab him. The man said to the monster, "What are you going to do with me ? " The monster replied , "I don't know, what are you going to do with me ? " Its your dream, you know . " The question facing each of us is what are we going to do with our dreams Will we sit and hope and yearn? Or will we focus our thinking and become a vessel for God to give us the gift we so rightly deserve?

When we step forward in consciousness our dreams become our reality. We realize that we have gone from dreaming a dream to living it, and these words of the Buddha ring so true. "Only those who go where few have gone can see what few have seen "Affirm: In this moment I make the choice to live my dream. I accept the gift and know it is moving into my experience right now.
