The winds of change blow through our life, sometimes gently, sometimes like a tropical storm. Yes, we have resting places - time to adjust to another level of living, time to get our balance, time to enjoy the rewards. We have time to catch our breath. But change is inevitable, and desirable.Sometimes, when the winds of change begin to rustle, we're not certain the change is for the better. We may call it stress or a temporary condition, certain we'll be restored to normal. Sometimes, we resist. We tuck our head down and buck the wind, hoping that things will quickly calm down, get back to the way things were. Is it possible we're being prepared for a new normal?Change will sweep through our life, as needed, to take us where we're going. We can trust that our Higher Power has a plan in mind, even when we don't know where the changes are leading. We can trust that the change taking place is good. The wind will take us where we need to go.Today, help me, God, to let go of my resistance to change. Help me be open to the process. Help me believe that the place I'll be dropped off will be better than the place where I was picked up. Help me surrender, trust, and accept, even if I don't understand.

Receiving the Grace of God's love has nothing whatsoever to do with the conditions of our life. It has everything to do with the condition of our heart.

AA Thought for the Day / If we examine every disturbance we have, great or small, we will find at the root of it some unhealthy dependency and its consequent unhealthy demand. Let us, with God's help, continually surrender these hobbling demands. Then we can be set free to live and love. /
Bill W., January 1958
Still, many cultures have long had experience with an invisible force that connects humans. They have given it many names - including num, chi, prana, mana, animal magnetism, life-energy, and the soul's substance - and they alldescribe a similar vibratory force that moves through the body in regular currents and emanates beyond the body in radiant fields. Allowing this energy to flow more freely through the body brings great benefits to our physical health and general well being.
Michael Sky
What I'm suggesting is that instead of these insights occurring randomly -- once in a while, by surprise -- we can learn to make them more of a way of life. Each of us has the capacity to learn to relate to life from a calmer, wiser perspective. Instead of being scattered and feeling rushed, we can operate from wisdom and feel peace. Trusting in our own innate intelligence instigates this process.
Richard Carlson
Peace...comes within the souls of men when they realize their relationship, their oneness, with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the center of the Universe dwells Wakan-Tanka, and that this center is really everywhere, it is within each of us.

The One we are waiting for and the One we have been looking for is already here, and has been here for a long time. You are the spiritual being you've been searching to find.

To grow, you must be willing to let your present and future, be totally unlike your past. Your history is not your destiny.
Alan Cohen
Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.
