Seeds for the Garden of your Mind

May 22

Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:

“Prayer can align us with Jesus.”

“In what terms do we consider Jesus? Based on our religious upbringing, we may consider Jesus for more holy than we have the capacity to be. It’s true that Jesus achieved transformation, transcended his body, and gloried only in love for humankind; however, we are promised the same opportunities. Perhaps we can’t imagine this personal evolution, but asking for help to suspend our disbelief is the first step in our process.

The idea that we are equal to Jesus, that we are One with Him, may sound sacrilegious. But it’s not. It’s the most loving way of all to honor Him and us. And becoming aligned with Him allows us to see our experiences as opportunities to forgive and thus love ourselves and then others, just as Jesus did.

Let’s remember that Jesus hung on the cross feeling no pain but only forgiveness in His heart for His attackers. This gives us a model to emulate. It won’t happen all that easily, no doubt, but it will happen. Praying to the Holy Spirit is the way.”

“My prayers will help me today.
Whatever I need to see, I can with the right prayer.”

Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “God provides the answer to every problem the moment it occurs. Time, as we’ve already seen, is just a thought. It is the physical reflection of our faith or faithlessness.”

Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “By judging, I surrender self-control. When I decide to judge, I also decide to shift my power to the object of my attack. And although I may start by judging one thing only, by believing that even a single judgment is justified, I affirm the validity of the entire process of judging. In that instant I become a keyboard upon which any individual or event can sound out the notes of my personal history. Now I am a passive instrument through which anyone or anything can play my preprogrammed tune – even though no one else can hear it.”

Wayne Dyer: “Spiritual solutions mean you are an instrument for giving peace rather than demanding that you be given peace.”

Paul Ferrini: “Do not let the differences in your beliefs, your culture or skin color keep you apart from each other. For these things are simply exterior garments covering the truth that you are.”

Unity’s Daily Word:

“Open and receptive to the blessings of God,
I live my life with confidence.”

“With a thankful heart, I celebrate an outpouring of God’s blessings.”

“Blessed in this moment and supported in all my adventures in life, I am confident as I go about my day. God provides for me as I move forward to accomplish my heart’s desires – dreams that have been placed in my heart and are mine to fulfill.”

“I live confidently because I now that God’s spirit is present and active within me. Throughout my day, this holy presence inspires me to live with assurance, knowing that I being guided on my right path. With God’s loving support, I am confident that my life is a life well lived.”

“Open and receptive to the blessings of God, I live my life with confidence.”

Lesson 142

Review Lessons 123 & 124
“I thank my Father for His gifts to me.”
“Let me remember I am one with God.”

Now that all that I am is revealed to me upon forgiveness of myself, I remember instantly that I am One with God – that I have forever been One with God – and will for eternity, be One with God. That which God is, I AM. And I am thankful for the vision of my reality.
