Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:
“Remember, we are channels for God’s love.”
“The barriers created to stop the flow of God’s love are masterminded by the ego. When we realize this to the fullest extent, we can acknowledge that the ego is not our friend. Its sole purpose is to keep us agitated. We then inflict our agitation onto others, thus giving purpose for the guilt that consumes us.
We don’t need this guilt. There is none in the Real World and that’s our real home, after all. The lives we seem to be experiencing here are illusory, hard though that is to fathom. Our physical and emotional pain can be gone in the flick of an instant. Pain is nowhere but in our minds, and our minds can be changed.
This feels so mysterious and hard to believe, doesn’t it? Why does this life seem so concrete is it isn’t? It’s helpful to accept that there are some things we may never fully understand. If we can just appreciate that all we need to do is receive the love that God promises us and then pass it on to others, we’ll get free of the ego’s attachment to us and thus free of our agitation.”
“I am open to God’s love today. Amen.”
Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “Pure love asks for nothing by peace for a brother, knowing that only in that way can we be at peace ourselves. Pure love of another person is the restoration of our heartline.”
Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “What I see is what I get. Sight is a literal extension of our self. A gentle vision extends a power as real as its object and transforms it into its own nature. In my presence you become the part of my heart that I have set free.”
Wayne Dyer: “When you encounter someone who resents you, you can be certain that this person feels resented, and is doing only what it is possible for him to do, which is giving away what he has.”
Paul Ferrini: “If loving others is based on agreeing with them, there will be very few people you can love. Fortunately, love runs deeper than that.”
Unity’s Daily Word:
“Honoring the sacred in all,
we honor our vision of world peace.”
“The love and understanding within our own relationships flow out into our world to touch other people in our workplaces and communities. We move past seeming boundaries or barriers with mutual respect and appreciation as the standard in all our communications.”
“Our love moves on to another valley, mountain, or country – another generation of the world’s children. We are all, indeed, family. We are blessed with the ability to analyze, connect, communicate, understand, appreciate, love, and pray.”
“God’s spirit is within every person, place, and situation. Honoring the sacred in all, we honor our vision of world peace.”

Lesson 149
Review Lessons 137 & 138
“When I am healed I am not healed alone.”
“Heaven is the decision I must make.”
This is a difficult concept for the ego to accept, but nonetheless, one that I embrace. When I am healed – when I have corrected my thoughts (errors) – I experience a healing that immediately is shared with others. Asking why simply points to the explanation of the Oneness of us all. As I heal, you heal. As you heal, I heal. That’s simply the way Oneness works. Heaven is my decision as it is my reality. The opposite if hell – the chaos that is so often seen in my world. I decide – I choose – and I attempt to stay with my choice of seeing Heaven instead of hell. I choose peace instead of fear. I choose love instead of fear. I choose joy instead of fear. I choose Love instead of fear.
