Snips

Let go of fear and your need to control. Relinquish anxiety. Let it slip away, as you dive into the river of the present moment, the river of your life, your place in the universe. Stop trying to force the direction. Try not to swim against the current, unless it is necessary for your survival. If you've been clinging to a branch at the riverside, let go.
Let yourself move forward. Let yourself be moved forward.
Avoid the rapids when possible. If you can't, stay relaxed. Staying relaxed can take your safely through fierce currents. If you go under for a moment, allow yourself to surface naturally. You will.
Appreciate the beauty of the scenery, as it is. See things with freshness, with newness. You shall never pass by today's scenery again!
Don't think too hard about things. The flow is meant to be experienced. Within it, care for yourself. You are part of the flow, an important part.
Work with the flow. Work within the flow. Thrashing about isn't necessary. Let the flow help you care for yourself. Let it help you set boundaries, make decisions, and get you where you need to be when it is time. You can trust the flow, and your part in it.
Today, I will go with the flow.

The Tao Te Ching says, "When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. When I let go of what I have, I receive what I need." Have you ever struggled to find work or love, only to find them after you have given up? This is the paradox of letting go. Let go, in order to achieve. Letting go is God's law.

Our first responsibility on the path, then, is to understand our relationship to God, to other people, and to the events in our lives - so that we may stop blaming something outside of ourselves for our troubles. Actually, it can be a great relief when we discover we can
stop looking everywhere for someone or something to blame. It can be a relief to know we need only look in the mirror to find the source of our troubles. But at the same time, we can congratulate ourselves on our courage to confront ourselves. And as we begin to uncover our issues one by one, and as we begin to heal, we come to see how much easier it is not to have to look far for our answers.
Jill Downs

This moment sits at the intersection of the best of your past achievements and the best of your future possibilities. What a powerful combination that can be. This moment has already begun. And you can determine how it ends. This is the time for you to live and to act, to think, to feel, to experience and to move gratefully toward your richest possibilities. The best of what your life has been is alive in this moment, ready to carry you forward. And the best of what's to come is ready to be fulfilled.
Ralph Marston

We need others. We need others to love and we need to be loved by them. There is no doubt that without it, we too, like the infant left alone, would cease to grow, cease to develop, choose madness and even death.
Dr. Leo Buscaglia

"The world is round and the place which may seem like the end may also be only the beginning."
Ivy Baker Priest
