Lesson 303
“The holy Christ is born in me today.”
The very word “Christ” for me, has been so misunderstood through life. At one point I thought that it was Jesus’ last name. By the way, his last name I believe was “Ben Josef.” I am discussing a book “Discover the Power Within” by Eric Butterworth with a Wednesday night Unity book group, and in the book, Eric says this about “Christ” – “Christ is not a person, but a principle. Christ is the level of God into man, the focal point through which all the attributes of God are projected into livingness.” From the Course I have come to believe that the Christ in me is the Spirit of God. And each day, each hour, each moment within me, is the Spirit of God “reborn”
