Lesson 324
“I merely follow, for I would not lead.”
I truly like this one – ego roaring in defiance, and I humbly acknowledge this lesson: I simply follow for I could not lead myself to where I am going – I do not know the way! Ego has me forever leading in many directions, and yet it so often appears, I end nowhere – no ending – no goal – no achievement – just like I was when I began. Within my is a guidance system beyond all imagination – a guidance system placed there the moment I had this ridiculous thought at which I failed to laugh. That guidance system is the Holy Spirit – the Voice of God – within me constantly telling me what to see, where to go and how to get there. In this illusion I made, I know absolutely nothing – ego knows nothing. Where could I possibly lead me knowing nothing. I humbly accept the guidance offered to me and given so freely to me. Thank you, God.
