Seeds for The Garden of Your Mind

November 20

Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:

“We are always in the right place at the right time
to learn what we need to know.”

“We worry far too much about how to do life! Have I prepared enough for this assignment? Am I the right mate for this particular person? Did I offer the right example to those who look up to me? We may have to stretch our willingness to believe that we are exactly where we need to be all the time. But it’s true.

The events of our lives are the classroom for our minds. That a refreshing idea. It saves us from regret over the past. It gives us hope for the present and the future. The people whom we come together have something to offer us. If not love, then the opportunity for us to offer it anyway. Every experience is a time for healing. We are always the healers as well as the healed. We are never where we can’t be helpful to the others in our midst.”

“I can overcome fear today
if I remember I am where I need to be.”

Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “We meditate and pray to build up our mental musculature.”

Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “Destiny can only be seen in peace. Our pathway through life is seen in retrospect. There is a sense in which everything does add up, but not in advance of the steps taken. If our journey is guided by the present instead of by a hodgepodge of fears about the future, we begin to discern a lovely wake flowing behind our actions, including even our mistakes. There is a beauty, a just-rightness, within the course of our life, but worry and second-guessing blind us to it.”

Wayne Dyer: “As you seek a spiritual solution to problems, the essence of truth as a vital component of light becomes obvious.”

Paul Ferrini: “No one can force another to awaken. Each person clings to separation and control until the pain is unbearable. The pain threshold is different for each individual, but everyone crosses it in the end.”

Unity’s Daily Word:

“Thank God for people whose compassion,
strength, and intelligence bless others.”

“I have great appreciation for those who have shown compassion, strength, intelligence, and willingness to do what benefits others.”

“Parents, grandparents, teachers, friends, and other people have been role models who have had a positive influence on me. I have been blessed in many ways, some that may not have been immediately apparent but were revealed as I experienced more of life.”

“In recognizing role models, I also recognize the potential within myself to be a role model for others. The strength of character displayed by these precious people inspires me to express the strength that is waiting within me to be expressed. Their compassion for others touches my heart, and my own compassion responds. With this understanding, I am doubly grateful for role models.”

A Course in Miracles: Lesson 324

“I merely follow, for I would not lead.”

Namaste – Ron
