If a Thought is troubling you, choose another thought

The sense of empowerment that comes from being willing to seek a shift in perspective is profound. It means you don't ever have to be at the mercy of a feeling or a thought, that you don't want. You also strengthen your partnership with your Higher Power every time you humble yourself enough to ask for help. The strengthening of your ties to God however you define God will serve you in so many ways. The more you make a habit of turning to that source for guidance the fewer struggles you will have in any area of your life.

We cannot change the world because its not our job but we can change ourselves because it is. That is the most profound shift in our thinking we ever really need to make. God will keep reminding us of this and helping us do it. Or we can make it such an ingrained habit that we are freed up to give other problems to God for solving.
