Each morning when we arise we have the power to create the tenor of our day. Because we are co-creaters with the One, we truly can write and produce the scenes that make up our life. We are players upon the stage, as Shakespeare said, but Science of Mind demonstrates that the only author is God expressing through and as us.
We can yell , "Cut !" and start a scene over whenever we need to in order to write a happier ending. We can take a deep breath, step back from the harsh words and angry retort, and remember that we have the freedom to act differently this time regardless of what the other person is doing.
It helps to start the day with God. Consider a new way of waking up other than slamming the alarm clock off with a groan. Tomorrow morning after hitting the alarm clock , or throwing off the cat, or chasing your child from the bedroom stretch luxuriously and say "Good morning " ! to God. Intentionally welcome Spirit into your thoughts and allow yourself time to spend a few precious moments still warm in your bed, to imagine how you and God are going to play with the affairs of the day.
If you know of a specific situation that may present a challenge or require more creativity than usual ask what quality of God would be more helpful to successfully resolve it. Then accept the quality as your cue for the day and go forth to produce a fulfilling, enjoyable and loving lifestyle.
Affirm: Today I glory in my freedom to create my life with God. No one and no thing has power over my affairs because Spirit is my constant companion and guide.
