Now, what's for breakfast? I'm starving!
On this particular morning breakfast consisted of hot oatmeal and fruit. It had rained for 36 hours, as the dry marks of the ground were from the tents. I had a tent for two, but was solo. After 20 hours of reading and napping it was getting a mite crowded and stale in the confines of the tent. I, for one, was glad to be moving, even if it meant kayaking 18 miles to the next stop. It was a bright sunny day and the sounds of the north woods were only broken by the swoosh of the paddle breaking water..
