There is one thing in this world that you must never forget to do. If you forget everything else and not this, there's nothing to worry about; but if you remember everything else and forget this, then you will have done nothing in your life. It is as if a king has sent you to some country do a task, and you perform a hundred other services, but not the one he sent you to do. So human beings come to this world to do particular work. The work is the purpose, and each is specific to the person.
Rumi
God made each of us, and God doesn't make mistakes. The first step in living a soul-sized life is recognition, a re-cognition, re-thinking of who we really are. We are not our personality or our history. That's all part of our human experience, but we are more than that. We are spirit, having a human experience. Practice this week staying in the re-cognition of yourself as a daughter or a son of God.

Somewhere along the way, the sleeping soul grows restless and longs to finally express the truth of who we really are.
Deborah Price
Nothing is lost upon a man who is bent upon growth; nothing wasted on one who is always preparing for - life by keeping eyes, mind and heart open to nature, men, books, experience - and what he gathers serves him at unexpected moments in unforeseen ways."
Hamilton Wright Mabie
