During the course of our lives, as we have become increasingly disconnected from Spirit, we have lost access to our power. We have become blind to the light within us. The more we have placed our trust and faith in the outside world, the darker and more unfamiliar our inner world has grown. Without the unrelenting voice of the soul, which constantly seeks our attention and never stops trying to redirect us back to our path, we would never find our way. We all possess an inner compass: We just have forgotten how to use it. Our task is to simply heed the signs and follow the directions provided by the Spirit within.

In any society there are certain areas of human experience that cannot be taught. There is a great deal about love and the loving relationship between two people that can be demonstrated to a certain degree, but must be lived and experienced directly in order for it to be part of anyone's learning experience.

I wanted to change the world. But I have found that the only thing one can be sure of changing is oneself.
Aldous Huxley
Your personal power is not something that is going to reveal itself at some later date. Your power is a result of your decision to reveal it. You are powerful in whatever moment you choose to be. The choice to be used as an instrument of love, right here, right now, is a choice for personal empowerment.
Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom
To learn something new, I have to resign as my own teacher. Life doesn’t select particular lessons for me to identify and learn. Nor does it whisper instructions that I must hear and interpret correctly. All it asks is that I not be my own self-appointed guru. Today I will practice making no assumptions and drawing no conclusions. If I do this, Life itself will take care of everything else.
Hugh Prather, Morning Notes
The mind…is useless in finding a way into mystical waters. Your mind is exhausted in its search. You need to finally let your soul have at it. Get your mind out of your soul’s way.
Caroline Myss
Sometimes the ‘fault’ that you perceive in another isn’t there. It is a total misinterpretation, a projection by a mind conditioned to see enemies and to make itself right or superior.
Eckhart Tolle
