Over the Miles

If you often do spiritual mind treatments for other people, you often have them tell you afterward that they feel better, which is great. The words in a spoken treatment are of course affirming and uplifting they are this way to help conduct the mind of the one treating to a place of total acceptance. So somebody over hearing those words about their own situation enjoys a very pleasant experience. But soothing words are not the point, it is that things actually improve. Feeling better may wear off, but being better comes to stay.

Absent treatment works just as well as when two persons are in the same room, distances through time and over space appearing irrelevant. When Jesus spoke of two or more being gathered (often uses as an invitation to group prayer) its quite possible that he didn't mean two or more persons but the reciprocal and balanced nature of Mind, which we would call the conscious and subconscious aspects that occurs within a single individual.

If someone we care about is right now distant and out of touch from us, treating to know that they know they have unlimited choice as to what to think and how to feel and affirming that their heart's desires have now surrounded them will do a world of good.

Affirm: Now I affirm my power to choose well being and happiness, and likewise I see this power present within every member of the human family. I elicit new possibilities from every circumstance, and this rising tide of consciousness lifts all.
