Karen Casey, Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course:
“We are always moving toward the Truth.”
“It’s possible to resist the knowledge that the Holy Spirit holds out to us; however, It will continue offering it to us anyway. At some point we will all be ready to seek a different understanding of how this world works. How fortunate that whenever we are ready, the Holy Spirit is present to help us.”
“What is this Truth we’re seeking, even though we may not realize we’re seeking it? It’s the understanding that we aren’t separate bodies with separate minds; we are united as One Spirit with our Creator. Only loving thoughts are true; everything else is an appeal for healing and help. And miracles are shifts in perception, only that.”
“If we’re in doubt that we’re moving toward Truth, let’s ask the Holy Spirit for some indication. If we seek to feel differently about the people and the experiences in our lives, Its influence on our perception will change our feelings. It will take only a single instance to see this. We can choose to see it as often as we desire.”
“My destination today is Truth.
I will reach it with the Holy Spirit’s help.”
Marianne Williamson, A Year of Daily Wisdom: “Religion means “to bind back.” Its purpose is turn us back into ourselves, to the well inside from which we are endlessly creative. God is a well that does not run dry.”
Hugh Prather, Morning Notes: “Forgiveness is never dishonest. Forgiveness is not some futile exercise in rosy self-deception. It’s never a positive reinterpretation of events that I lay on top of the negative interpretation I already believe. It’s simply the gift I give to myself that allows me to return to the present and be as God created me.”
Wayne Dyer: “People who are described as self-actualized are able to see beauty everywhere, and they source their life from their awareness.”
Paul Ferrini: “The love that expresses through you is the Christ Presence, the human vehicle ablaze with divine light, the very embodiment of God’s love.”
Unity’s Daily Word:
“My sacred relationship with God
enriches every day of my life.”
“Grounded in the knowledge of my oneness with God, I enjoy a relationship with my Creator that leads me in living a healthy, abundant life.”
“I enrich this sacred relationship by using powerful spiritual tools every day. Prayer and meditation keep me in tune with the presence of God regardless of where I may be or what I may be doing.”
“I adhere to the spiritual principle of acknowledging the spirit of God within all people. I use this tool to help me interact with others in meaningful ways – both personally and professionally.”
“Understanding the principle of God’s unconditional love for all, I gain a greater appreciation of others and myself, and I tap into unlimited capabilities.”
A Course in Miracles: Lesson 328
“I choose the second place to gain the first.”
